Greetings visitor

This is the portfolio of Nils Gustav Jønsson. I am originally from Sweden, but have been living in Oslo, Norway for the last four years. My working days are spent at the award winning Itera Gazette. My title says graphic designer, however, I have an approach and hypothesis that well-thought and well-executed digital design can’t be achieved without some basic understanding for IA-principles, interaction between human and machine, browser flaws and variables in PHP.

I believe in functional user-centered design and have experience from roles within project management, concept development, creative direction, art direction, graphic design, interaction design and front-end-development (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, ActionScript). I’ve also worked with back-end technologies (PHP and .NET) in platforms such as Wordpress, EPiServer, Escenic, MS SharePoint and SAP.

When I’m not at work my awake life is spent with family and friends, but other interest also involves music (composing, playing and listening) and sports (climbing, skiing etc.).
